Clean the Bassinest Sheet
Things You’ll Need:
- Warm Water.
- Safe Laundry Detergent.
- Washing Machine (if you want).
The sheet may seem an annoying but important part of your baby’s nursery.
It gets dirtier and grubbier with each passing day. That is why I recommend machine washing or taking my advice on hand-clean it for deep cleaning.
However, if you want the best results, then soak first before doing so (to eliminate stubborn stains). After rinsing off the detergent, use 40% alcohol at most; 70 percent will work too but be more drying.

- Once you have wiped down the entire halo Bassinest, put it in the washing machine and wash it on a gentle cycle with warm water and a safe laundry detergent.

Note:- Use non-abrasive cleaning materials to ensure your baby’s skin is not irritated or damaged. Do not use bleach on stained sheets as it may irritate their delicate young bodies (Dermatitis). Additionally, you risk damaging the material of whatever surface has been cleaned if strong chemical cleaners are used without care.
How To Deal With Stubborn Stains?
If you’re using a bassinet, your baby is just a few months old. At this stage, they’re learning how to control their muscles and may not yet have much control over their bladder or bowels.
This can make for frustrating (and messy) times when accidents happen during diaper changes or while your little one sleeps. If you’re dealing with stubborn stains on the bassinet sheet, here are a few tips to get them out:
1. Use hot water and detergent.
2. Pre-treat the stain with a laundry Stain pre-treatment product hemorrhoidal ointment like Vaseline, A&D ointment, or witchcraft hazel, then wash in HOT water with laundry detergent.
3. Wash in the hottest water safe for the fabric and use color-safe bleach if needed. If the stains are set-in, you may need to soak the item in a solution of one part water to one part vinegar for 30 minutes before washing.
